It will be our pleasure & pride to serve you at Shirar Resort & Spa, Manali (HP). We promise to give you a regal experience comprising of our extravagant suites, scrumptious meals, lavish amenities & outstanding hospitality that you would like to reminisce about throughout your lifetime. We have made our payment policies as convenient as possible to proffer you an extraordinary experience with our team.

Now, let us walk you through our reservation process –

OUR RESERVATION PROCESS:

To make a guaranteed reservation at Shirar Resort & Spa, Manali (H.P), all communications must be done in written form / E-mails. WhatsApp Texts will not be entertained unless desired deposit/remittance has been made in our respective bank accounts.
At Shirar Resort & Spa, our guests can opt-in between our two lucrative options – “Hold rooms upto 24 Hours” or “Reserve Instantly”. We recommend the “Reserve Instantly” option for prompt confirmations, best tariffs, and same category of rooms as preferred by you.
We understand that at times, guests can be in the midst of unknown personal/professional plights which unable them to make prompt reservations. Thus, to save our guests from such predicaments & indecisiveness, our team will be happy to hold the rooms. Please refer to the below table for “Hold Period” time limits:
- Off-Season Time (05 Jan to 15 April 2022 & 05 July – 15 Dec 2022) – Upto 24 Hours
- Peak Season Time (15 April – 05 July, Festivals & Long Weekends) – 3 to 5 Hours
- Group bookings (07 rooms or more) – 12 Hours in Season & 30 Hours in Off-Season
Please note our “24-Hour Hold” option is subject to the release of rooms. In rare cases where other potential guests are about to make the payment instantly, we will issue a half-an-hour notice to you to make the necessary token amount of 15% of the total tour /stay package. In case, the guest fails to do so, the blocked rooms will be released and the booking will be passed on to other guests.
Reservations at Shirar Resort & Spa, Manali will be considered confirmed only upon receiving 50% of the total package amount. A minimum 15% Token amount is also accepted. However, the remaining percentage must be cleared within the stipulated time of 24 Hours for FITS (Upto 8 persons) & 48 Hours for 8 passengers & above.
All the payments must be notified to our team either by Phone/SMS/E-Mails followed by proof of receipt (screenshot of payments) & ID proof of the Travel Company / Travel Agent or any one of the travelers making the journey.
At Shirar Resort & Spa, Guests are welcome to use via Debit Card, Credit Card, NEFT/RTGS, UPI, or Cash deposit in our provided bank accounts / at Hotel’s Payment Collection office. If you are an international clientele (based outside India), please take currency exchange & bank deductions into consideration and thereafter only make the payment. Using IMPS / NEFT / RTGS / ATM

Guests can choose among IMPS, NEFT, and RTGS options
Guest can also use ATM Machine by choosing the “Fund Transfer” option while paying us.
Please inform us once you add us as beneficiaries. We will put the rooms on hold till the activation period.
Please note that the number of transactions & transaction limit may vary from bank to bank.

Using UPIs options

Guests can pay us using G-Pay, Paytm, PhonePe, Mobikwik, Bhim, etc.
UPI IDs or Respective numbers will be provided for the above.
Guest can also scan QR codes given on our website or request one.

Cash Deposit at Bank / Hotel’s Payment Collection office.

Guest can deposit cash directly at our below-provided bank accounts.
Local Travel Agents or anyone on the guest’s behalf can deposit cash at our Payment Collection office.
PAN needs to be produced by the Payer in case the cash collection exceeds beyond INR 50,000 /-.

How to pay the remaining amount?

All the remaining amount must be paid before check-out time by using any of the aforementioned methods.
Cheques & Swipe Machines can also be used for making remaining payments as long as they meet below T&C.

Things to Note

Surcharges will apply for Credit/ Debit Card Swipes at Reception.
Please make sure all cheques are cleared before check-out.
PAN needs to be produced by the Payer in case the cash collection exceeds INR 50,000 /-.
We do not accept cheques during continuous bank holidays.

Cancellations

No refund requests will be entertained for bookings made attoken amounts of INR 5000 or less
Complete 50% Advance will lapse in case of No Shows.
Cancellations made 01-14 days prior to the journey will attract 50% Retention charges/ Full Advance.
Cancellations made 15-30 days prior to the journey will attract service & convenience charges upto 15% or Token whichever is higher.
100% Refund will be made in case our resort undergoes sudden renovations/ repairments or if existing group decides to extend their stay at our resort. Alternative options will be suggested within the time span of 3 Days. If the guests disprove all the new properties, we will process a full refund in the payer’s account.
Shirar Resort & Spa, at its obsolete discretion, reserves the right to either refuse the check-in / terminate the entire booking immediately for any of the below reasons without any refund, whatsoever. The additional amount can also be procured from the guests in the form of fines (in some cases). In extreme situations, Police Personnel can be called upon for settlements.
- Fake Documents produced while checking-in
- Inappropriate, obscene, or violent behaviour
- Any illegal or illicit activity performed by the guests just prior to or during their stay
- Insufficient Booking Advance
- Guests showing covid-19 symptoms during our screen test
- Guests under the influence of intoxications
- Individuals trying to carry flammable objects/ weapons / explosives/ contrabands etc
- Any Activities which are against our House Policies or Indian Laws

Amendments

Guests can prepone/postpone their stay at Shirar Resort & Spa, Manali15 days prior to their journey.
The new travel dates will be subject to availability and new tariffs.
Change in Travel dates more than once will attract additional charges along with new amended Tariffs.
Guests can also extend their stay on a pro-rata basis which will be subject to the availability of rooms.
Early checkouts or partial cancellations will follow the above cancellation policies.
All the confirmations are non-transferable to any other/third parties.

Documentation required at Shirar Resort & Spa Manali

All the guests are requested to carry their respective ID proofs for smooth check-in at Shirar Resort & Spa, Manali. As a valid ID Proof, guests can furnish their Adhaar Card, Driver’s License, Passport, Voter ID, or Passport. PAN Cards are not accepted. For International Clientele VISA is mandatory along with their passport. Parents are also requested to carry Birth Certificate of Children for age verification purposes
In case government introduces or imposes any new/old Covid Rules & Regulations, desired certificates, and Covid negative reports need to be produced at our Hotel’s Reception.

House Policies:

Our teamstrivesto providean exceptional stayto all its guests. At Shirar Resort & Spa, we believe in rendering a safe, hygienic, undisruptive, congenial. hassle-free & serene atmosphere for everyone. Thus, to maintain the mellowness of the place we request all our guests to adhere to the below terms & conditions. This will help us in concocting a pleasant stay not only for yourself but also for co-travelers and our amicable team that serves you 24/7.

Check-in & Check Out

Our standard check-in time is 2 PM whereas check-out time is 12 PM. However, we will be happy to allot you the rooms from 9 AM onwards & an extended grace period of half an hour till 12:30 PM in case there is an availability of rooms. These arrangements are free of cost at our resort.
To make the waiting period as seamless as possible we will ask you to unwind yourselves at our waiting Lounge/reception. In the meantime, we will serve you our very special welcome drinks and provide you with restroom services too.
Check-in before 8 AM and check-out after 1 PM will attract 50% of the room tariff excluding meals.
Extended stays will be on a pro-rata basis and subject to availability.
While making reservations at Shirar Resort & Spa, guests must state the exact number of travelers& the actual age of the children as mentioned in their government-issued documents. We reserve the right to charge a fair amount for extra members adjoining on the trip or children found to be above the stated age.
We do not allow unmarried couples with Local IDs or any couple under the age of 21 Years (either one or both the members)
Maximum Occupancy for our Deluxe, Premium & Luxury rooms is 4 Members. For higher categories please refer to our Room Page Section for more information.

A Quick look after check-in

Our team thoroughly inspects all the rooms before allotting them to the Guests. We majorly check if housekeeping has been done properly, all the appliances are working efficiently and none of the items are broken or missing. We request the guests to cross-check the same from their end and bring any flaws to our attention immediately. In case the guests fail to notify us within 15 min of check-in, they will be treated as the primary suspects for missed/damaged items and will be charged accordingly.
Please also acknowledge us about any objects/luggage left by the previous guests. Our team will log it into our “Lost &Found” database& inform the true owner for its collection.

Meals

Our resort is jam-packed with delicious delicacies, cuisines, confectionery, alcoholic &non-alcoholic beverages, light refreshments& grand feasts for special occasions. Guests can make special requests for their preferred type of meals, cuisines, and delicacies at Shirar’s multi-cuisine restaurant, Bar & Bakery. Our multifarious options include but not limited to Italian Cuisines, Chinese Cuisines, Indian cuisines with options of Veg/Non-Veg & Jain Food, Continental plan, Non-Spicy/ Gluten Free/ Oil-Free Food, Bakery Items, Special Diet Plans & more.
Accommodations booked with meals will follow either the Buffet System or Fixed Menu decided by our in-house Chef. Extra items will be treated on Al-a-carte basis and a bill for the same will be produced during check-out time.
Please note we have fixed timings for serving main course meals & additional food &beverages. Guests are requested to order their favourite food within the stated time window. Meal timings will be shared along with the Menu in the room itself.
Some cuisines need elaborate preparation time. Thus, guests are requested to make a mention of it 24 hours prior to the consumption time.
Shirar Resort & Spa offers happy hours for alcoholic drinks whereas on-Alcoholic drinks are served for free with appetizer/snack/bakery orders. Guests are welcome to avail the facility within the stipulated time only.
For special occasions such as weddings, kitty parties, birthdays, jubilees, corporate events, ceremonies, or any other memorable events, we would love to host a beguiling feast for all the guests and visitors alike.

Please notify us about your Allergies

Guests with allergy issues, sensitiveness, or intolerance related to but not limited to certain meal types, fabrics, dust particles, smells or fragrances, objects,pets,etc must notify us beforehand. We will take extra precautions to either remove them completely / keep them at significant distance so that your stay at Shirar Resort & Spa can be made as flawless as possible.

Services & Amenities

Guests are requested to follow instructed timings of our in-house amenities. This includes the use of swimming pool, games rooms, spas, gym, banquet hall, etc. These amenities are chargeable & extra penalty points can be levied if the guests refuse to abide by the House Policies.
For Spa, Sauna &Massage treatments please give us advance notice of 4-5 Hours. So that our respective masseuses& masseurs can make necessary preparations & create a suitable atmosphere to give you once in a lifetime rejuvenating experience.
For safety purposes, minors under the age of 18 Years are not allowed to use our swimming pool or gym without the supervision of an adult above 21 Years/ parent/ guardian. The supervisors must be well-trained & prepared for any type of situation.
We do not allow heavy or Self- Laundry services on our premises. However, infant clothes are exempted from such rules and parents can wash up to 3-4 items per day. Please note such items must be dried inside the room and not outdoors/ balcony area.
Any surprises or special arrangements requested by the guests in their rooms require key access. Arrangements to refer here are Flower Bed/ Birthday/ Room Décor, Candle Light Dinner, Honeymoon Cake, Fruit Wine, Gifts, etc. Thus, guests must notify us about the same beforehand and leave the keys at our reception area We do not open the guest’s room without their consent (unless during emergencies) and thus shall not be responsible for not fulfilling such requests.
Driver & Maid Lodging will be charged extra. Such arrangements can be made either at our staff quarters or nearby budgeted accommodations. Please note these are ancillary services and we do hold any security or service guarantees for other properties.
Generally, our property does not face frequent power cuts. However, in cases of long blackout hours, we turn on the power back up system at scheduled hours of 7-11 AM & 8-12 PM. We request all our guest to charge their electronics to its full capacity and finish off all their personal & professional work during these power back up hours.
Shirar Resort & Spa furnish the guests with Travel Desk Services too. Our team will be more than delighted to assist you with your taxi booking, Volvo Tickets, Day Hikes, Guides, trekking & camping with a bonfire, and complete Himachal Tour Packages & Adventure Activities, Additionally, we have our own River Rafting & Paragliding ventures too with professionally trained & Himachal government-approved pilots. Indemnity bond will to signed before the commencement of any Adventure Tour Package.
Services included in the stay/ tour package but not availed by the customer for whatsoever reasons will be treated as No shows. These services cannot be redeemed in the form of cash or replaced with additional services. For instance, if guests skip their morning meal, the same will not be replaced with high teas/evening meal nor the refund will be processed.

Who can stay at Shirar Resort &S pa?

Families, Honeymooners, Co-operate & MICEs, Student groups, women-only hangout, and special event holders are all welcomed at Shirar Resort & Spa, Manali.
Shirar Resort & Spa is partially couple-friendly. We allow unmarried couples as long as both the partners are above 21 Years of age& none of them has a Local ID.
We are a pet-friendly property. So, feel free to bring your adorable fur babies at our ever-welcoming abode.
Our resort may not be suitable for extremely senior citizens or specially-abled people due to the slight walking distance from the parking area to the reception. However, we will still be happy to help you with the transfers if the guests are alright with such arrangements.
Shirar Resort & Spa is not for wild party animals, heavily intoxicated persons, molesters & perverts, free loaders, individuals who are plainly ill-mannered or inconsiderate towards others, heavy nit-pickers, or patrons trying to perform any illegal/illicit activity must refrain from staying at our premises.
Please avoid playing extremely loud music, drinking& smoking other than our designated areas, yelling, littering etc along with other of our below in-house policies. Multiple requests will also made for the same too. However, if you fail to comply by even after several reminders, we will ask you vacate the property. We do not mind our guests enjoying their lives out but not at the cost of arising unnecessary fuss & inconvenience for our fellow guests or our in-house staff.

Day Visitors Note:

Any person residing outside Shirar Resort & Spa but looking forward to meeting our guests during their stay will be considered Visitors. Please note as a prerequisite, prior intimation and permission will be required by the meeting guest (s) and the resort staff combinable.
Visitors must produce any of their Identity cards such as Adhaar, Driver’s License, Voter ID, Passport & VISA (in case of international citizenship) at our Reception. This is necessary for our documentation and security purposes.
Visitors (upto 5 People) are allowed to meet the guests from 10 AM to 7PM for maximum of 3 Hours. Any Food & Beverages consumed during guest-visitor meetings will be charged extra. The bill could be solely paid visitor/guest itself or split in between both the parties.
The visitors along with the guests must abide by all our in-house policies. We can restrict the entry of any visitor in case they are suspected of any hideous crimes or have attempted any illegal or commercial activity in our premises. We can also ask the guests to vacate the property immediately in such scenarios.
Visitors are not allowed to avail any of the guest’s amenities including but not limited to Wi-Fi,a Swimming pool, Gym, Games room, and Spa without obtaining prior permission from Shirar Resort & Spa’s Team. Please note all these will be chargeable on per hour basis.

Tariffs & Payments Notice

Please never make any transactions other than the accounts stated on our website or sent via our official E-Mail IDs. Any payments done to the imposters or personal accounts of Employees will not be entertained.
Our rates are subject to change without any prior notice. Factors affecting the same will be arrival dates of guests, group bookings, room categories, revision in taxes by the government, new law enforcement, force majeure, or any other factors which are beyond our control. Please consult our reservation team before making any reservations online/offline.
All the payments whether advance or remaining must be made in accordance with the aforementioned points in reservation section.

General Dos& Don’ts

Guests are humbly requested to turn off all electronic appliances before leaving the room for extended hours. This includes TVs, Mini Fridge, A/C, Tea or Coffee Maker, Lights, Fans, Hair Dryers, Charges, etc. The heater must also be turned off before sleeping time (if our centrally heated system is under-maintained or we have low occupancy.) Please also crosscheck for any open water taps, balcony windows, entry doors, etc. We expect all our guests to be responsible humans by saving water, electricity & non-renewable resources for our future generations.
Guests are encouraged to remain cordial at all times with fellow guests, staff members, or anyone present on the premises. A warning will be issued for creating loud voices, eating at places other than the designated areas, littering the property, inappropriate clothing/behaviour, throwing unnecessary tantrums, or anything that can deteriorate the sanity, decorum &virtuousness of the place.
Do not change the position of the gadgets and fixtures in the hotel or guest rooms without our acknowledgment &permission.
Please do not smoke or consume alcohol other than in the designated areas. Smoking zones &Bar Lounges are specifically built for such purposes in Shirar Resort & Spa, Manali. Smoking in rooms, public spaces, lobbies, etc is strictly prohibited and can lead to penalties.
Please do not advertise your business via commercials or distributing business cards/ pamphlets to anyone at the hotel.
Please follow all the aforementioned policies to avoid any inconveniences.

Lost & Found

In case of guests forget any of their belongings in the room before check out, we will log in the articles in our “Lost & Found” Database. Our team will try to connect with you immediately and hold the items for up to 14 Days. Any item left unclaimed will be disposed of after the expiry date.
The new guests are requested to acknowledge and hand over the items left by the previous guests at our reception area. Please be kind and return the belongings that might hold immense value for someone either materialistically or emotionally.

Our Zero Tolerance Policy

At Shirar Resort & Spa we promise for a very safe and secure environment for everyone, let it be our valuable guests, day visitors, or our employees. To do so, we have introduced a “zero tolerance policy” against certain behaviors, activities & individuals. In certain cases, Law enforcement officers will also be called to take over the situation immediately.

Carrying or attempting to carry explosives, guns/swords (without a license) and weapons of any kind.
Gambling, selling of contraband, sexual assaults, or prostitution acts on the premises.
Individuals fabricating unreasonable demands and throwing Tantrums for free upgrades/discounts.
Abusive, violent, physical, pompous, insane nuisance behaviour of any kind
Pilferage activities / Stealing items from the rooms or premises.
Patron (s) under the influence of heavy intoxication & showing signs of unsuitable behavior
Disrespecting anything or anyone based on religion, culture, race, color, gender, status etc.
Anything that can damage someone’s self-esteem or hurt them physically, emotionally, mentally, or psychologically
Nit-picking, unjustified tantrums & threatening employees of uploading falsified reviews in order to get free services.
Attempting to flee from the resort without payment &proper check-out procedures.
Faking health issues or emergencies will be considered as the lowest level of humanity for the above point.
Boasting of connections with MLAs, Commissioners, and Celebrities as to avoid any confrontations for the misdeeds.
Self-proclaimed Social Media influencers acting as freeloaders.
Breaching or violating anything related to house policies.
Anything which is not in compliance with the Indian Laws

Our Rights & Liabilities

Shirar Resort & Spa can detain the guests at their premises due to any pending/uncleared amount.
We reserve the right to deny the check-in to guests due to insufficient advance, improper documents, guests holding criminal records, carrying anything illegal, or doing anything which is against our House Policies & Indian laws. No refunds will be released for the same.
Shirar Resort & Spa, Manali reserves the right to compensate for any property damage/extreme littering / missing items or any similar acts done by the guests accidentally or intentionally.
We have zero-tolerance against Illegal activities, abusive behavior, physical confrontations, fake accusations or unnecessary tantrums, or any individual who does not respect & abide by our House policies. Such occupants will be ejected immediately after procuring the redemption charges. Police Personnel can also be called for such settlements.
In case, we suspect you of stealing any item such as tea coffee maker, remotes, cutlery, lamps, etc. we have the right to check your bags not only confiscate the stolen items but also charge for the damaged/missing items. Law enforcement officers will also be called upon in certain situations.
Guests are requested to be careful with their surroundings & belongings. At times even the slightest carelessness can result in loss of lives, damage to property, or self-inflicting pains. Shirar Resort & Spa shall not liable for any losses caused by guests, intentionally or accidentally. Other circumstances where our resort shall not hold any accountability will be acts of God (flood/earthquake/landslides, etc), political disturbances, terrorist activities, theft, quarantine notices, and new laws introduced by the government.

Jurisdiction

The team of Shirar Spa & Resort believes in harboring outstanding cooperation & coordination with its business partners, guests & visitors. However, in rare cases, unfortunate events can occur leading to unresolved issues. All such disputes arising out of or in connection with your at stay at Shirar Resort & Spa (Manali), that cannot be resolved or concluded between the parties within the stipulated time of 30 days will be subjected to the jurisdiction of Manali by the law of India.
